Red once again dominated the runway, fashion brand Alice and Olivia took no time to
showcase their sparkling personality through their bold yet sophisticated pieces.
One of the boldest designs they displayed jumbo bows, clouds, and roses which was inspired by Tom Wesselman’s work. This year Alice and Olivia collaborated with the Tom Wesselman estate. The founder of Alice and Olivia, Stacey Bendet, did not only reference Wesselman’s art in their fall collection but also in front of the Alice and Olivia headquarters there were 3D sculptures alongside the street and, they provided their guest audience with oversized sunglasses to enhance the experience of their collab with Wesselman’s estate.
It could not be a fall collection without the iconic tweed jackets and Alice and Olivia did
not disappoint us this year with the amazing tweed trim jacket matching sets. They also
did not stop there, they even highlighted minidresses and gown dresses.
They even did something out of the ordinary for them that worked so well for them by
using a new jersey like fabric to hug more of the silhouette of the body type. We cannot
wait to see more from Alice and Olivia and hope to see them continue to add new and
different varieties to their collections like they did this year.
